cucumber raita, cooking recipies

Cucumber Raita


Ingredients:

* Cucumbers - 1/2 Kg
* Curd (Yogurt) - 2 cup
* Cumin seeds - 1/2 teaspoon
* Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
* 1 tablespoon Salt


How to Prepare :


Method:

* Grate the cucumbers,sqeeze out the access water of cucumber after grating.
* Beat curd in a bowl , add grated cucumber , salt and black pepper, mix well.
* Refrigerate for 1 hour and spinckle roasted and crushed cumin seeds over it.
* Enjoy chilled cucumber raita with poories/rice/chapaties.

Note:Do not throw this cucumber water as it can be used in mixing face packs.
