Recipe: Hot and sour soup

Ingredients:

1/2 cup carrot, chopped
1/2 cup cabbage, chopped
1 tsp Chinese salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 tbsp cornflour
1 cup boneless chicken, shredded
2 tbsp soya sauce
2 tbsp chilli sauce
2 tsp vinegar
3 to 4 garlic cloves
Green onions, chopped
Oil
Salt to taste






Method:
Boil chicken with salt and pepper till tender, leaving four cups of stock.
Heat oil, add chopped garlic, all the vegetables, soya sauce and chicken stock.
Boil till the vegetables become tender.
Add all the other seasonings and cornflour.
Cook for a while and then sprinkle chopped green onions.
Serve with lime or vinegar.
