Recipe: Philly Burger


1 1/2 lbs. ground beef

1 egg yolk

1/4 C. grated onion

1 large garlic clove minced

1/2 t. oregano

1 t. basil

salt and pepper to taste

6 slices provolone cheese

Mix together the beef, egg yolk, onion, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Mix lightly, using your hands. Shape into 6 patties.

Grill to desired doneness. Top with cheese.

Serve in hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.
